Introduction(Aims of Research) Video

What we are discussing about would be the sustainability of the school facilities in our school. We have chosen this area of focus as we realised that many of our school facilities are not properly utilised.
Possible reasons for the unutilised rooms might be because there are many rooms of the same function. Only some of them are used.
A few reasons why we have chosen this topic allows us to see the impact of the school facilities on SST students’ learning. This can also benefit all SST students’ so that their learning can be enhanced. It would be great if we could use those empty rooms and facilities for other various needed purposes and not be there just to collect the dust particles. When these redundant rooms and facilities are being changed into other useful rooms, it benefits the students in learning and experimenting. Therefore this is a win-win situation.

Manageability of the research
The timeline for the different components of the project will be decided later based on the situation then(probably by our project manager:Pat Guan). But overall, the project will be done as fast as possible and carefully as we can, trying our best not to go out of point and staying as close to the topic as possible.
This research provides sufficient opportunity for group work as we will need to discuss a lot of matters

Regarding the project like for example, talking about ways to utilise the
facilities in school during school hours.
We don’t anticipate any difficulties along the way as our group is very
cooperative and is able to work well. When tasks are assigned to each team member, he/she will go and upload his/her findings and his/her part of the project onto our blog. Each person would be assigned something to do so that no one would be left out or be said as the sleeping member.

Accessibility of the information required
Information/knowledge that will be relevant to our research would be the importance of school facilities on students learning
We will be obtaining this information from primary and secondary sources, depending on which one gives more reliable and useful information.
Some alternatives that we have thought of would be to ask others for information or where can we find the information that we need or conduct surveys and interviews to further our research.
